Teacher Grade 6-8 Math Bilingual

Qualifications

• Hold a New Jersey instructional Middle School Math or K-12 Math certificate and a Bilingual certificate
• Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, using proper grammar and vocabulary
• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of Bilingual education, effective instructional strategies, classroom management, learning assessment, and diagnosis and research related to learning and children needing to learn English as a second language
• Knowledge of NJSLS, the Common Core Standards, and mandated state testing
• Experience working with middle school students
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Experience with Google Classroom and various media-related applications
• Assumes professional responsibility for providing learning experiences and supervision of assigned students in a supportive and positive classroom climate
• Meet such alternatives to above qualifications as the Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable
