About Us

Regents Knights Athletics, which began in 1995 with 5th-8th grade basketball, volleyball, and football, has since expanded to 56 teams across 15 different sports in grades seven through 12. Since our first year of varsity athletics in 2000, Regents has won state championships in football (2020, 2010, 2006, 2003, 2002, and 2001), girls tennis (2018), volleyball (2006), girls golf (2012), swim (2013) and cheer-leading (2006) as well as numerous regional, bi-district and district titles in other sports including boys and girls basketball and golf. In its proper context, the Regents athletic program is an arena for discovering and maturing in the Christ-like character that will define our student-athletes for the rest of their lives. We desire that our entire athletic community - coaches, players, and parents - participate in such a way that honors God and conveys a positive witness to those around us.

Schedule

Part-time, stipend-only. No full-time positions available for coaching.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Coach with season programming, practice design, and help direct instruction of the JV and Varsity Baseball program.
• Completion of current CPR & First Aid training.
• Meet attendance.
• Overnight travel to Regionals and State.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be a Christian.
• Must have a passion to disciple children through Athletics.
• Must believe and abide by the Purpose, Mission, Philosophy, Objectives and Doctrinal Statement of Regents School, evidenced by signing a statement of agreement with Article II annually.
• Must agree with the Chicago Statement on Biblical Inerrancy (adopted 2017) and the Nashville Statement: A Coalition for Biblical Sexuality (adopted 2019) as clarifying language under Article II.
