High School Anatomy and Biology Science Teacher- Northridge High School

Northridge Local Schools in Johnstown, Ohio, is seeking a dynamic and passionate Biology & Anatomy Science Teacher to join our High School team for the 2026–2027 school year. The ideal candidate will inspire students through hands-on, real-world learning.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction in high-school Biology and Anatomy.
• Design and implement hands-on, real-world learning experiences.
• Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
• Uphold the Licensure Code of Professional Conduct for Ohio Educators.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and high-performance classroom environment.

Requirements

• Valid Ohio Department of Education Adolescence to Young Adult (AYA 7–12) teaching license with a Life Sciences or Integrated Science concentration.
• Record free of criminal violations that prohibit public-school employment.
