High Bay Freezer Warehouse Utility - Moses Lake Production Campus
Key Responsibilities
- Aid forklift drivers in the shipping process by pulling tote tickets and recording inventory of shipments
- Maintain and clean the docks and warehouse areas free of debris
- Responsible for cleaning the warehouse floors with a floor scrubber, clean and maintain outside of the warehouse building, and assist with snow removal as needed
- Assist the forklift drivers and warehouse staff with projects
- Aid in labeling and sticking loads
- Stack and unstack pallets in preparation for shipments
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Preferred experience in a cold storage warehouse environment
- Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision and exercise good judgment
- Preferred knowledge of computer systems
- Experience operating a forklift preferred
- Must obtain and maintain annual Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) certification for entry into low oxygen freezer environment, which involves wearing a tight-fitting mask.
- Must obtain and maintain a Forklift Certification
- Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to lift, stand, walk, twist, bend over or stoop, and crawl on hard surface.
- The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms.
- The employee is occasionally required to sit while operating a forklift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in a refrigerated and frozen environments
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts.
- Ability to work in enclosed, tight spaces.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write correspondences and to effectively communicate information in one-on-one settings and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization in a professional manner.
