Hi Tech Security Officer - Gaming

Set schedule: Day/Swing/Grave mix – 6am-2pm Sunday & Monday, 2pm-10pm Tuesday & Wednesday, 10pm-6am Thursday. Site location: Las Vegas, NV.

About the role

As a Concierge Security Officer, you will focus on customer service while working with people on all shifts in environments such as office towers, hotels, and shopping centers. Your ability to build meaningful connections and engage with others will reassure and inspire confidence.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to clients.
• Observe, survey, and report activities at the assigned site.
• Respond quickly to critical situations.
• Perform access control by screening guests, employees, vendors, and others upon entry and exit.
• Conduct security patrols inside and outside the facility by car and on foot.
• Issue appropriate badges at the facility.
• Answer phones and communicate with patrol officers to cover areas and assignments.
• Write and maintain detailed reports.
• Enforce client procedures, regulations, and standards.
• Operate electronics, computers, radios, and advanced CCTV systems.
• Work in various temperatures inside and outside the property.
• Maintain vehicles and other assigned equipment following proper procedures.

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Minimum of 2 years of security experience, with 1 year in a highly sensitive manufacturing facility.
• Valid PILB (Nevada Private Investigator’s License) in hand.
• High school diploma or GED (or higher degree).
• Superior computer and electronic skills.
• Outstanding people skills.
• Ability to work in various temperatures, ranging from cold to hot and humid.
• CPR/AED certification (or ability to obtain within 1 week).
• Gaming License (or ability to obtain within the first two weeks of an offer).
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.

Pay

Competitive hourly wage of $19.50 per hour. DailyPay available for GardaWorld employees.
