Hi-Lo Operator- Broadmoor Ave | Kentwood

Key Responsibilities

• Uses attention to detail to operate material handling equipment and scanning software in a fast-paced and high-volume environment.
• Moves product to and from storage locations.
• Loads outbound orders while verifying accuracy.
• Inspects trailers prior to loading, ensuring trailers are safe and food grade.
• Secures loaded trailer while waiting for pickup.
• Utilizes scanning software to systematically move product in real-time.
• Performs warehouse cleaning duties including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, floor scrubbing, etc.
• Occasionally charges or changes Hilo battery, participates in inventory counting, and wraps or stacks product.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or forklift experience.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Previous stand-up Hilo experience highly preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a cold storage environment preferred.
