About the role

Personal Care Aide (PCA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) positions are available at Marquis Home Care in Amsterdam, NY. Full-time and part-time roles are offered.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care activities.
• Support light housekeeping and daily living tasks.
• Ensure client safety, including proper use of equipment.
• Accurately document services provided in accordance with agency policies.
• Communicate promptly with the RN Supervisor regarding any changes in the client's condition or incidents.
• Participate in the supervisory process as required by NYS law.
• Maintain client confidentiality and protect the integrity of client records.
• Build positive, respectful relationships with clients and families.
• Adhere to agency dress code and professional hygiene standards.
• Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and professionalism.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervising nurse.

Requirements

Minimum education level: Less than High School. Experience required: None. Salary range: $18.65 - $22.00 per hour. Shifts vary. Full-time and part-time hours available.

$18.65 (PCA) to $22.00 (HHA) hourly for Non-Driver positions. $20.00 (PCA) to $22.00 (HHA) Driver with a vehicle.
