HHA, Home Health Aide

We are currently recruiting for a Home Health Aide (HHA) to serve clients in the Williamsport and South Williamsport areas. Specific client assignments include:

• Williamsport male client – full time, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (driver preferred)
• Williamsport female client – Monday 7:30 AM – 11:00 AM and Saturday 7:30 AM – 2:30 PM (driver preferred)
• Williamsport female client – every other Monday or Sunday day shift, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• South Williamsport male client – Wednesday and Friday 10:00 AM – 3:30 PM (driver preferred, experience required)
• Williamsport/Cogan Station female client – Friday 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

About the role

As a Home Health Aide at BAYADA, you will provide one-on-one personal care, household support, and companion care to help adults stay safe and independent at home. Following a written plan of care by a registered nurse, you will develop close relationships with your clients while assisting them with daily activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
• Provide household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making, etc.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding
• Support range of motion exercises
• Assist with ambulation, including transfers and use of mechanical lifting devices
• Provide medication reminders
• Travel to clients’ homes as assigned

Requirements

• Previous home health care or patient care experience welcomed, but not required (training provided)
• Passion for caregiving and a desire to help others

• Ability to travel to clients’ homes as assigned
