Responsibilities
- Aid clients with activities of daily living.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Absorb and assist with mobility and transfers.
- Prepare and serve meals according to clients' needs.
- Perform light housekeeping duties.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and outings.
Requirements
- 40 Hr Certificate, Active HHA
- 75 hour certificate, CNA license (Required)
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid guidelines
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Current CPR certification
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer skill proficiency
Qualifications
- Background Screening Requirement: Employment in Florida is contingent upon completion of a Level 2 background screening in accordance with Florida AHCA requirements.
