HHA/CNA/PSA Homecare- Newtown Area

Responsibilities

• Aid in personal care activities such as bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, and dressing.
• Assist with exercises, ambulation, transfer activities, and administration of medications.
• Take and record temperature readings.
• Monitor and report on patient status.
• Document care provided.
• Perform assigned tasks under supervision and training.

Requirements

• Completion of a state-sponsored homemaker/home health aide training and competence evaluation program.
• Completion of a nurse’s aide training and competency evaluation program as defined by Connecticut regulations.
