About the role
To be eligible, you must:
- Reside in the Sarasota area
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
- Able to commute to Sarasota
- Able to bend, push, or pull up to 25 lbs
- Treat clients and their property with dignity and respect
Requirements
- Pass an extensive background check, motor vehicle check, and drug screen
- Walk-in interviews are available at Home Instead Sarasota, 2801 Fruitville Rd, Suite 130, Sarasota, FL 34237 on Monday-Friday from 10:30 AM - 3:00 PM
Qualifications
You May Assist Clients With:
- Activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal hygiene
- Bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence care
- Mobility assistance and supervision for safety
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping
- Errands and transportation using your personal vehicle
- Companionship and meaningful conversation
- Following individualized care plans
