Morning Caregiver

About the role

Visiting Angels of Webster Groves is hiring Morning Caregivers to serve clients in the local area including Chesterfield, Webster Groves, Maryland Heights, Eureka, Fenton, Ellisville, Ballwin, and more. Join a national network of caregivers providing personalized care to cherished clients.

Responsibilities

• Helping clients with personal care and hygiene
• Assisting clients with light physical exercise or walks
• Planning and preparing meals with clients
• Handling light housekeeping duties
• Reporting health changes or unusual incidents
• Providing pleasant, supportive companionship
• Responding quickly and responsibly in emergencies
• Accompanying and supervising clients during shopping trips
• Reminding clients to take prescription medications appropriately
• Providing assistance with mobility and ambulation both at home and during appointments/errands

Requirements

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Drivers License, Car Insurance, and a Reliable Personal Vehicle
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Training in First Aid and emergency response (provided if needed)
• Excellent time-management skills
• Reliable transportation to client homes
• Physical endurance for tasks like carrying groceries and supporting clients
• Ability to perform housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to dietary constraints
• Willingness to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards (background check)
• Compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten clients' days
