Job Summary
To be eligible, you must:- Reside in the Sarasota area
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
- Be able to commute to Sarasota
- Have the ability to bend, push, or pull up to 25 lbs
- Treat clients and their property with dignity and respect
- Pass an extensive background check, motor vehicle check, and drug screen
Walk-In Interviews
- Home Instead Sarasota - 2801 Fruitville Rd, Suite 130 - Sarasota, FL 34237 - Monday–Friday, 10:30 AM – 3:00 PM This position is subject to Florida Level 2 background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.What You’ll Do
- Activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal hygiene
- Bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence care
- Mobility assistance and supervision for safety
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping
- Errands and transportation using your personal vehicle
- Companionship and meaningful conversation
- Following individualized care plans
Qualifications
- Experience with Memory Care/Dementia, Stroke recovery, or similar needs is not required but may be beneficial
