HGV2 RoRo Driver

About the role

Abacus are looking for a reliable and experienced HGV2 Driver with previous RORO / Skip experience. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our client in Andover on an ongoing basis, with the potential to lead to a permanent role for the right driver.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate RORO and Skip vehicles.
• Deliver and collect skips using Roll-on/Roll-off to and from customer sites.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company policies and road traffic regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service while representing the company professionally.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time.

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class C (Category C) licence.
• Valid RORO (Roll-on/Roll-off) and/or Skip experience preferred.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good knowledge of road safety regulations.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.

Pay

Starting from £16.50 per hour PAYE and £19.00 per hour via Umbrella company.

Schedule

Monday – Friday based role.
