About the role

This is a remote, part-time Territory Sales Associate position. Candidates must be comfortable traveling to store locations within the assigned territory, driving approximately 55 miles per day in a personal vehicle. Mileage will be reimbursed at 62 cents per mile. This role is ideal for a relationship-oriented person looking to flex their selling skills while representing major brands like Reese’s, Hershey’s Kisses, Twizzlers, and Jolly Ranchers.

Responsibilities

• Sell and maintain 100% distribution of all “authorized” Hershey items in the assigned territory.
• Ensure flawless retail execution of Headquarter Sales and Merchandising Plans (Retail Execution Plan) with various retailers.
• Achieve all merchandising objectives through the effective use of Permanent Secondary Displays and other display vehicles.
• Report weekly activity, expenses, account changes, promotions, and all administrative functions within the assigned territory.
• Submit daily activities through the use of tablets upon completion of each day.

Requirements

• Valid U.S. state-issued driver’s license.
• Personal vehicle in sound operating condition with minimum auto insurance coverage of $100,000 per person / $100,000 per accident / $100,000 property damage, permitting business use.
• Must reside or be willing to commute within the specified territory boundaries.
• Ability to drive long distances and make multiple sales calls daily.
• Ability to lift 10-40 lbs. regularly, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, and demonstrate manual dexterity frequently, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Must be able to use tablet technology.
• Daily access to wireless internet.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changes in territory coverage.
• Availability to work 20-25 hours per week.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 3-4 years of food merchandising experience preferred but not required.

Schedule

This is a continuous part-time role working 20-25 hours per week. Workdays should overlap core hours of 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, unless otherwise required by business needs. On average, a Territory Sales Associate will visit 6-10+ accounts per day.

Pay

Hourly starting rate of $15.50 - $16.50 per hour. Rate may vary depending on skills, experience, and geographic location.
