About the role

Operates a variety of types of heavy equipment, machinery, and tools to perform maintenance and construction of roads and drainage systems, including drainage ditches, maintenance ways, pipes, and boxes.

Responsibilities

• Skilled in operating multiple pieces of heavy equipment as assigned, including rubber tire backhoe, tractor, and rubber track excavator.
• Performs routine preventative maintenance on equipment as required.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Performs other related duties as required or assigned.

Requirements

• High school education with one to two years of experience in operation of trucks, backhoe, motor grader, bush hog, or any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must possess a valid Class A CDL driver’s license.
• Must be able to pass the required pre-employment physical and background check.
