About the role

MUSC Health – Lancaster Medical Center is seeking a board certified or board eligible Oncology/Hematology physician to help grow a newly established practice in Lancaster, SC. Physicians in this clinical practice will work to coordinate patient care and manage the treatment of cancer diagnoses in collaboration with providers in MUSC’s Division of Hematology & Oncology located at Hollings Cancer Center (HCC), in Charleston, SC.

Responsibilities

• Manage the treatment of cancer diagnoses following National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) guidelines
• Work to coordinate patient care in a brand new oncology clinic within an infusion suite
• Provide call coverage through a network of MUSC physicians
• Utilize Epic EMR system
• Collaborate with supportive leadership and collegial medical staff
• Establish local clinical trial offerings in collaboration with Hollings Cancer Center

Requirements

• BC/BE in Medical Oncology/Hematology
