Position Overview

We are seeking a Board-Certified Hematology/Oncology Physician to join a busy outpatient practice in the Cooperstown, NY area. This is a locum tenens position for a provider to work 3 full days per week, with the potential to continue until a permanent hire is made.

Team Composition

Team Composition: 1 MD to 1 NP onsite
Support staff includes nursing and administrative personnel

Patient Details

Volumes: patients/day (varies by patient mix)
Case Mix: 80% Oncology / 20% Hematology
Hematology Scope: Includes benign and malignant cases

Procedures/Skills

Patient Details: Bone marrow procedures are a plus (most handled by IR)

Credentialing & Requirements

Active NY medical license required
Board Certification required
Immunization record required (flu vaccine or declination)
Negative TB or QuantiFERON Gold test within 1 year of start
No temporary privileges; MSO processing timeframe 120 days (urgent need flagged with credentialing team)
