Hematology Oncology Physician

Key Responsibilities

• Providing outpatient hematology and oncology care, seeing 15-18 patients daily, with manageable clinic schedules.
• Administering antineoplastic agents, intrathecal, intralesional, intracavity therapies, and managing VAD catheters.
• Participating in clinical trials and multidisciplinary tumor boards.
• Collaborating with a team of MDs, APPs, nurses, and pharmacists in a supportive environment.
• Sharing call responsibilities on a 1:5 schedule, with future goals of 1:7, handling inpatient consults and after-hours coverage.

Qualifications

• American Board of Internal Medicine certification with subspecialty certification or active progress in Medical Oncology and Hematology.
• A patient-centered approach, excellent clinical and interpersonal skills, and a team-oriented mindset.

Compensation And Benefits

• Competitive salary starting at $550,000-$600,000, increasing to $650,000 in later years, plus productivity bonuses.
