About the role

Join our experienced team in Burien on the campus of St. Anne Hospital. Candidates should be interested in growing our newly established practice, while forming good relationships with our existing employed physician referral network. As part of our team, you will work alongside local and regional cancer care specialists, all dedicated to improving quality, enhancing patient experience, and advancing clinical standards for those we serve. We offer Outpatient Infusion and Chemo onsite (15 chairs and 3 beds) at St. Anne Cancer Center.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of new patients
  • Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with families and interdisciplinary teams
  • Provide ongoing management and follow-up care for patients with a wide variety of hematology and oncology diseases
  • Offer guidance and support to patients and families regarding educational resources and community services
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure a coordinated approach to care
  • Stay current with research and best practices in both Hematology and Oncology to provide evidence-based care
  • Participate in community outreach and education initiatives to promote awareness of cancer care and blood disorder issues

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
  • Board certification or eligibility in Hematology and Oncology
  • Active Washington State Medical License, or eligible for licensure
  • Strong clinical skills and experience with both hematology and oncology patients
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Able to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to all patients and families

Qualifications

Pay

The posted compensation range of $530,576 - $677,281 /year is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
