About the role
A large, established private practice in Munster, IN is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Hematology Oncology physician.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions using advanced diagnostic techniques and treatments.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans for patients.
- Participate in medical rounds and case conferences to discuss patient cases and treatment options.
- Contribute to research and development of new treatment protocols and technologies.
- Provide clinical mentorship to fellows and residents.
- Assist in the supervision of medical students and residents.
- Manage call schedule of 1:4 weekends.
Requirements
- Medical degree from an accredited institution.
- Current Medical License in good standing.
- Completion of ACGME-accredited Hematology/Oncology residency program.
- Board Certification in Hematology/Oncology preferred.
Qualifications
- Exceptionally skilled in diagnosing and treating hematologic and oncologic conditions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience with innovative cancer and blood disorder treatments.
