Hematology-Oncology Physician
About the role
Join a team of 3 in the Oncology department, with call rotation of 1:4. The practice is located at one location next to the hospital cancer center, offering both inpatient and outpatient services with clinic hours from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM. The facility includes an onsite radiation therapy and infusion center, and opportunities to consult with Radiation Oncologists and participate in a multi-disciplinary tumor board and cancer registry.
Responsibilities
- Participate in a multi-disciplinary tumor board and cancer registry
- Consult with Radiation Oncologists
- Precept DO medical school students and IM residents
- Offer both inpatient and outpatient services with clinic hours from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM
- Work in a traditional setting with an onsite radiation therapy and infusion center
Requirements
- BC/BE Hematology/Oncology
- Ability to obtain a medical license in Alabama
- Willingness to sponsor H1B Visa or J1 Waiver
Qualifications
One of the largest not-for-profit tertiary referral centers in Alabama with 400+ active Medical Staff and a service area of 600,000 in a 75-mile radius. Pay
$100k Start Bonus with competitive annual base salary above MGMA, plus productivity bonus option.
Schedule
Traditional setting with clinic hours from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM.
