About the role
Hematology - Oncology Physician, providing locum tenens support in inpatient and outpatient settings.
Responsibilities
- Manage Hematology and Oncology cases.
- Handle a mix of inpatient and outpatient care, utilizing EMRs such as Athena and Cerner.
- Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
- Diagnose and treat hematologic and oncologic conditions.
- Coordinate care plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with credentialing requirements and hospital protocols.
Schedule
Monday to Friday 8 am‑5 pm, with occasional nights and weekend call.
Qualifications
- Active Michigan State License
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
Skills
- Strong clinical skills in Hematology and Oncology, with the ability to manage complex cases
- Excellent communication
- Adaptability
