About the role

Piedmont Oncology, a newly reorganized cancer program within Piedmont Healthcares, is recruiting a board certified/board eligible medical hematology/oncology physician for its Piedmont Atlanta Hospital. This position supports a rapidly growing and evolving cancer program both locally and across the 23-hospital system.

Responsibilities

• Support and expand the clinical excellence aligned with discovery and innovation associated with Piedmont Oncology.
• Work well with other providers both locally and across Piedmont Oncology.
• Practice in an outpatient clinic setting and supervise an infusion center in close proximity to the clinic.
• Participate in and lead research and care pathway initiatives across the system.

Requirements

• A Georgia medical license.
• Strong communication skills.
• Genuine compassion for patients and their families/support teams.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in Medical Hematology/Oncology.
• Experience in a similar role preferred.
