About the Role

Mount Sinai Medical Center’s Award Winning Cancer Center is seeking a Hematology Oncologist to join our distinguished team. We provide state-of-the-art treatment for patients with cancer, incorporating the latest research and treatment options to deliver individualized care. Our doctors participate in ongoing multidisciplinary system-specific conferences to enhance the safety and effectiveness of each patient’s treatment. We carefully monitor each patient during ongoing treatments and meet weekly with a multidisciplinary team to review cases. Our patients have the opportunity to participate in leading cancer trials, allowing them access to promising advanced treatments years before they are FDA approved.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver patient-centered multidisciplinary oncology care
  • Provide expertise in general oncology, including hematology and solid tumors
  • Participate in multidisciplinary conferences and weekly case reviews
  • Engage in clinical research and medical education
  • Contribute to building the practice and community involvement

Requirements

  • Board Eligible/Board Certified (BE/BC) in Hematology Oncology
  • Excellent clinical training in oncology
  • Experience in benign hematology is preferred
  • Adaptability and interest in practice growth and community engagement
  • Strong interest in clinical research and medical education is encouraged
