About the Role

Lead Hematology Med Tech responsible for performing a variety of laboratory examinations, including specialized and experimental tests, ensuring rapid and accurate results. Oversees all technical aspects of special chemistry services, provides training, assesses competency of lab staff, and maintains high-quality laboratory operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hematology and chemistry tests, including specialized and experimental procedures
• Supervise and ensure the accuracy of laboratory processes
• Oversee technical aspects of special chemistry services
• Provide training and assess competency of laboratory staff
• Maintain compliance with laboratory standards and regulations
• Support staff development and leadership initiatives

Requirements

• College degree in a relevant field
• ASCP or AMT certification
• Prior laboratory experience
• Experience in special chemistry preferred
