Our outpatient clinic shares a building with cancer navigation, physical therapy, and infusion services, while in-house labs, imaging, oncology pharmacy, pathology, and collaborative tumor boards ensure seamless, high-quality patient care. Tenet Healthcare is seeking several Hem/Onc physicians to help shape and lead this growing medical oncology practice, offering you both clinical depth and meaningful influence over the program's direction.

Responsibilities

The position involves working in an outpatient setting with primary care and inpatient support infrastructure in place, with a patient volume of 32 patient contact hours per week. The outpatient team includes a patient care tech, clinical coordinator, office coordinator, approximately 6 chemo nurses, oncology pharmacist, and certified cancer navigators. Inpatient support is provided by a hospitalist team that manages admissions, with established general and oncology surgeons on staff (breast, thyroid, colorectal, liver).

Requirements

• MD or DO degree required
• Board certified in Internal Medicine
• Board certified or board eligible in Hematology/Oncology
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Hematology/Oncology required
