Location: Panama City, FL – Ascension Sacred Heart Bay

About the role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated physician to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network. Join an established team of 1 physician and 2 APPs with a call structure of 1:2. The practice setting includes a mix of inpatient and outpatient care with access to support staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Participate in a 1:2 call structure
• Collaborate with a team of 1 physician and 2 advanced practice providers (APPs)

Requirements

• Licensed Physician (MD/DO) credentialed from the Florida Board of Medicine obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
• Board eligibility or certification in medical specialty required
• Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
• Advanced Life Support preferred (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted)
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required
