Hematology and Medical Oncology Physician
Job Summary
The physician will perform all duties of a hematologist and medical oncologist. The physician will see patients at the Adventist Health Rideout Cancer Center in Marysville, CA and admitted patients at Adventist Health Rideout Hospital in Marysville, CA. This is a UC Davis Health Cancer Care Network site.
Qualifications
- Possess a valid California Medical License.
- DEA License.
- Employee must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and Medical Oncology.
- Must possess an MD or DO Degree.
- Completed a medical internship at an accredited institution, completed a residency program in Internal Medicine at an accredited institution, and completed a medical fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology.
- Experience performing functions of a hematologist and medical oncologist.
- Skills required include the ability to manage the care of medical patients with complex conditions and function effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge required includes a good understanding of the common diseases that clinical physicians deal with on a daily basis. The incumbent must be experienced with and have a good understand of the health care systems in which they work and how to manage their patients’ care needs.
- Abilities/competencies required include being able to function in a professional manner with regards to patients, families, colleagues; comply with all medical staff policies and procedures; and to be an effective communicator with a broad range of people.
