Locum tenens assignment at a mid-size outpatient medical center in Renton, Washington, providing specialized hematology and oncology services. Assignment duration is 6 months or longer, starting immediately.
About the role
Clinicians will provide outpatient hematology and oncology coverage on-site in Renton, 4–5 days per week (Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM), managing 12–16 patients per day with 0–2 new consults expected daily. Call coverage is required on a 1:5 rotation.
The clinical scope encompasses general hematologic and oncologic conditions. All documentation must be maintained through the Epic EMR system, with Beacon for Chemo used for chemotherapy-related documentation and treatment planning.

- Multidisciplinary clinical support team: Medical Assistant, Scheduler, RN Navigator, Palliative Care provider, Oncology Social Worker, Oncology Financial Coordinator, and Oncology Pharmacist

Requirements
- Board certification in Hematology/Oncology
- Active Washington state medical license
- Prescriptive authority
- Hospital privileges
Schedule
- 4–5 days per week, Monday through Friday
