Hematologist/Oncologist Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Outpatient Clinic inWyoming

About the Role

This outpatient hematology and oncology physician role involves providing patient care in a clinic setting, managing approximately 12-14 adult patients daily with a focus on oncology (70%) and hematology (30%). The clinician will handle general hematology and oncology cases, perform around 2 new consults daily, and provide on-site coverage with prescriptive authority.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient treatments in an outpatient clinic setting
• Coordinate with a support team comprising a palliative care physician, advanced practice clinician, RN, navigation staff, and pharmacy
• Provide on-site coverage with prescriptive authority
• Perform approximately 2 new consults daily
• Take call duties every third week, including emergency calls outside of office hours and on weekends (averaging 10-15 calls per month)
