Hematologist/Oncologist Locums Coverage

About the Role

Provide outpatient care with a patient mix of 70% oncology and 30% hematology, handling 15-18 patients per shift. Support hospital consultations and work in a clinic setting with a focus on outpatient services. No admissions are involved.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outpatient oncology and hematology care
• Participate in a hospital call rotation every 4th or 5th week
• Collaborate with nurse practitioners for rounding support
• Ensure comprehensive patient care over a 36-hour workweek
• Utilize an online portal for assignment details and time entry

Requirements

• Board certification in relevant specialty preferred
• Strong clinical skills in oncology and hematology
• Excellent communication and ability to work independently in a consultant role
• Comfortable with outpatient care and hospital consultation
