Hematologist Oncologist
About the role
The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues in an established hematology and medical oncology practice affiliated with Maine Medical Center, an integral part of the MaineHealth Cancer Care Network. This role offers flexibility for hematology specialization or general hematology/oncology practice. Participation in subspecialty, system-wide multidisciplinary tumor boards is encouraged, and a subspecialty clinic at the primary MaineHealth Cancer Center in Scarborough/Portland is available for candidates with subspecialty interest.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Prior experience in hematology within an academic health system or academically oriented private practice is preferred, although strong candidates in the early stages of their careers will be considered.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree.
- Board certification in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology.
- Completion of an accredited ACGME/ACGME-approved Hematology and/or Medical Oncology residency program.

Pay
The annual base salary for this position is $430,000-520,000 – location dependent.
