Hematologist

About the role

This is primarily a clinic‑based hematologist position with rotations to provide inpatient consultation and care for patients with acute hematologic conditions. You will work closely with colleagues in an established hematology program to evaluate and treat patients with a range of benign and malignant hematologic conditions, with opportunity for sub‑specialization.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with benign and malignant hematologic conditions.
• Provide inpatient consultation and manage inpatient care for acute hematologic conditions.
• Collaborate with hematology and oncology colleagues in a multidisciplinary setting.
• Participate in clinical and translational research activities as part of the academic program.
• Pursue sub‑specialization interests within hematology.

Requirements

• Prior experience in benign and/or malignant hematology within an academic health system is preferred.
• Strong candidates early in their careers and current fellows will be considered.

Pay

The annual base salary for this position is $430,000.
