Helper Operator

About the role

Responsibilities

• Assists other workers in ensuring the correct dimensions and quality standards for products.
• Moves and positions materials at the work site with the help of other workers.
• Assists the saw operator.
• Holds tape to assist in measurements and/or layout during production.
• Loads, stacks, and handles work-in-process by hand or truck.
• Makes out production identification tickets.
• Assists in packaging materials.
• Cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• The ability to understand and deliver basic commands in English is required.
• A background in manufacturing, production, or machine tools/equipment is beneficial.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours or 12-hour shifts.
• Good math skills are necessary.
• Forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Pay

$20.12 per hour

Schedule

Day shift: 6AM to 6PM

Shift Premium

$1.00/hour extra for shift differential
