Helper, Maintenance
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain valid Forklift and Manlift certifications.
- Painting experience is required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Self-motivated and dependable.
- Patch, repair, and paint facility surfaces as needed.
- Absorb additional maintenance and repair tasks as required.
- Execute lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures on all applicable equipment and facilities.
- Communicate job-related details clearly through written and verbal methods, including team meetings, work orders, and related reports.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness within the department.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
- H.S. Diploma or G.E.D. is required.
- Minimum 2 Years Painting or Maintenance Experience.
- Demonstrated organizational and communication skills.
Physical Requirements
- This position requires a person to have the ability to perform work while standing or walking for up to eight (8) hours a day, the ability to perform work while sitting for up to eight (8) hours a day and the ability to lift up to 10 pounds on an infrequent basis.
- Good vision at a close distance is required.
- Must be capable of performing repetitive motion at, above and below shoulder height for up to six (6) hours a day.
Training Requirements
You will receive training to perform your job on an on-going basis concurrent with Decostar business operations. Training areas will include safety, quality, continuous improvement and other job specific training that is determined to be an essential part of your job and Decostar business operations.
