Maintenance Helper

About the role

The Maintenance Helper position is an integral part of our production team, involved in daily processes and successful outcomes for our facility and its customers. In this position you will support production operations and assist other maintenance team members with assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support production operations
• Avoid working in confined spaces and elevations over 50 ft without proper training
• Communicate in a clear and effective manner
• Apply skills in various venues to achieve success

Requirements

• Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Have flexibility and multi-tasking abilities
• Read a tape measure and do basic math
• Have HS Diploma or GED
• Have one year experience in a manufacturing setting
• Be able to use lifting equipment and drive a forklift
• Have good hand-eye coordination and be mechanically adaptable

Qualifications

• Able to work safely and follow all plant rules
• Pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
• Be at least 18 years old

Pay

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $17.60-$23.80+ benefits. Base pay will vary within the range depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This information is specific to Nacogdoches and may not be applicable to other locations.
