About the role
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Roofing Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial roofing, including installation, repair, and maintenance. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain commercial roofs using proper techniques and materials
- Assist in the preparation of project documentation and reports
- Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and other team members
- Participate in safety meetings and follow all safety protocols
- Perform routine inspections and assessments of roofs to identify potential issues
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial roofing
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
Qualifications
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
