Responsibilities

• Responsible for the successful operation of the school cafeteria by encouraging maximum student participation with positive customer service.
• Responsible for adhering to local, State, and federal regulations regarding School Food Service and the Child Nutrition Program.
• Prepares and handles foods safely, optimizing and maintaining high standards in nutrition, food flavor, appearance, and presentation.
• Responsible for meal preparation, serving line setup, receiving, cleaning, and sanitizing of dishes, equipment, and facilities, serving food, assisting with record keeping, and cashiering.
• Communicates effectively with food service staff, food service director, school faculty, administration, and students, and attends training as required.
• Displays a high level of personal and professional integrity in the performance of duties.
• Accomplishes all tasks in a manner that promotes excellent customer service.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time.

Schedule

Monday through Friday – 9:45 am to 1:30 pm (3.75 hours per day), totaling 18.75 hours per week.
