Schedule
3.75 hours per day, Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM–1:15 PM (18.75 hours per week).
Responsibilities
- Ensure the successful operation of the school cafeteria by encouraging maximum student participation with positive customer service.
- Adhere to local, State, and federal regulations regarding School Food Service and the Child Nutrition Program.
- Prepare and handle food safely, maintaining high standards in nutrition, food flavor, appearance, and presentation.
- Perform meal preparation, serving line setup, receiving, cleaning, and sanitizing of dishes, equipment, and facilities.
- Serve food, assist with record keeping, and perform cashiering duties.
- Communicate effectively with food service staff, food service director, school faculty, administration, and students.
- Attend required training sessions.
- Display a high level of personal and professional integrity in all duties.
- Accomplish tasks in a manner that promotes excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
