About the role
SAIC is currently seeking a Helpdesk Services Support for the Army’s Mission Command Information Systems (MCIS) onsite at Rock Island, IL.
Responsibilities
- Assist and provide end-user support and serve as auxiliary support for Video Teleconferencing (VTC) operations
- Support the local Desk Side Support Technician & VTC Specialist
- Provides troubleshooting, repairing and debugging T1 computer systems
- Helps with maintenance problems or bugs to design engineering/software engineering
- Position requires up to 25% travel
Requirements
- BS degree and 0 years related experience (4 years experience accepted in lieu of degree)
- Able to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance prior to start
Skills
- Experience in desk side or end-user technical support
- Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and peripherals
- Advanced printer troubleshooting experience
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills
Pay
Target salary range $40,001 - $80,000.
Schedule
Full-Time, Day shift.
