Help Veterans At Home (Ilion) – Personal Care Aide (PCA) Jobs

Duties

• Provide a safe way for clients to feel clean and refreshed (personal care)
• Learn and prepare simple meals
• Tidy clients' homes to promote health
• Safeguard clients by ensuring they follow their medication schedules
• Other care as needed to keep clients safe

CareGivers is a licensed home care agency with 12 branches in Upstate New York and Western Pennsylvania. We provide quality, compassionate home care and are always seeking skilled professionals to join our team.

Qualifications

• Certified Personal Care Aide (PCA), Home Health Aid (HHA), or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• At least 3 months of previous hands-on caregiving experience in the last three years (may qualify for PCA certification through an alternative training class)
• Caring, dependable, and meets health requirements
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle (for driving clients to appointments and running errands)
• Must be 18 or older
