Help Package 10,000 Meals for Families in Need

First Presbyterian Church of San Leandro and Rise Against Hunger are hosting a volunteer event to package 10,000 meals for families facing hunger around the world. This hands-on opportunity is open to all ages and welcomes individuals, groups, and corporate teams.

About the event

Join friends, family, and neighbors in a fun, collaborative effort to provide nutritious meals to communities in need. No prior experience is necessary—training will be provided on-site.

Volunteer roles

• Meal packaging volunteers (65 needed)
• 3–5 setup and cleanup volunteers
• A few volunteers able to assist with lifting up to 50 pounds
