About the Organization

Responsibilities

• Conduct home visits to families participating in the program
• Provide parent education for families prenatal up to age five
• Work from home or the Highland County board office
• Maintain a caseload and meet mandates and timelines

Requirements

• Eligible for credentialing under ODH rules
• Attend all state-mandated trainings and additional trainings as required by the Program Manager
• Minimum of a high school diploma with relevant experience working with children, or an associate degree (bachelor’s degree preferred) in Psychology, Education, Early Childhood Education, Social Work, or a related field
• Experience in case management
• Pass BCI and FBI criminal background checks as required by the Ohio Revised Code
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical, and TB test
• Valid Ohio driver’s license with a clean driving record and satisfactory MVR CORSA score
• Complete a 180-day probation period

The HCBDD is a drug-free workplace which prohibits the use of marijuana (recreational and medical cannabis).
