About the role
We are looking for a Help Desk Technician to provide in-depth desktop support to users and assist the IT Administrator with troubleshooting, diagnosis, and resolution of both PC and network problems. The position requires working independently and troubleshooting network issues as they arise.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support, by phone or in person, including cell phone questions, printers and copier troubleshooting, and software support.
- Work closely with the IT Administrator on day-to-day tasks.
- Assist with the IT Administrator in troubleshooting and resolving PC and network problems.
Requirements
- Associates degree in Information Systems, or Computer Science (or related field) from an accredited two-year college or 1 year plus experience with A+ certification.
- Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Windows networks and workstations.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suites.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Lift a minimum of 25lbs.
Preferred Experience
- Basic Windows Server and AEC Autodesks software experience preferred.
