About the role
The Help Desk Technician supports the Information Technology department in providing technical assistance to end-users across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Provide first-line technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person visits.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues using standard troubleshooting techniques.
- Document and escalate complex issues to senior IT staff.
- Train and assist end-users with the use of new technology solutions.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures related to IT support.
Requirements
- One to three years of progressive experience in a help desk environment.
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems and common applications such as Microsoft Office.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Some college coursework or relevant training preferred.
Skills
- Technical troubleshooting skills.
- Customer service orientation.
- Basic understanding of network infrastructure and protocols.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 annually.
