We are looking for a Help Desk/Desktop Support Analyst to support day-to-day technology needs for a manufacturing environment in Holland, Michigan. This long-term contract position focuses on preparing end-user equipment, supporting workstation readiness, and resolving common desktop issues so employees can work efficiently.

The role is well suited to someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, organized asset handling, and responsive user support in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Prepare laptops for deployment by imaging or building devices and verifying that required company applications are installed and ready for use.
- Receive newly delivered hardware, organize equipment into inventory, and distribute assigned assets to employees as needed.
- Process returned devices by evaluating condition, identifying technical issues, cleaning equipment for redeployment, or coordinating disposal when items are no longer usable.
- Set up employee work areas by installing IT hardware, mounting monitors, and arranging cabling neatly to support a functional workspace.
- Provide front-line support for endpoint problems, including diagnosing and resolving issues related to Windows 10 and Microsoft Office applications.
- Track and update support activity through service desk tickets to maintain accurate records and timely resolution of requests.
- Assist with basic account and access-related tasks within Active Directory as part of end-user support activities.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in help desk, desktop support, or a similar end-user support role.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 and general Microsoft Windows environments.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite troubleshooting and common desktop application support.
- Basic troubleshooting skills for laptops, monitors, peripherals, and other endpoint devices.
- Experience using ticketing or service desk systems to document and manage support requests.
- Understanding of Active Directory for routine support tasks such as user and device administration.
- Ability to handle hardware setup, asset coordination, and workspace equipment installation with attention to detail.
