About the Role
We are seeking a customer-focused IT support professional to join a growing organization and provide hands-on assistance to users across the business. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving day-to-day technology challenges, working with people, and building technical knowledge in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employees needing assistance with software, system access, hardware, and other everyday technology needs.
- Administer user access within Active Directory, including account maintenance, password resets, account unlocks, and group membership updates.
- Diagnose and resolve workstation, connectivity, and basic network-related problems while escalating more complex issues when appropriate.
- Help employees adopt new tools and functionality by providing clear guidance, training, and one-on-one support.
- Identify recurring support challenges and recommend process or technology improvements to increase efficiency and improve the end-user experience.
- Work collaboratively with the broader IT team and business users to maintain dependable technology services and a positive support experience.
- Track support requests from intake through resolution, maintaining accurate ticket notes and documenting troubleshooting steps and follow-up actions.
- Create and maintain practical technical documentation, including application procedures, user instructions, and internal support resources.
Requirements
- 2 years of work experience or internship experience in a technical support or desktop support environment.
- Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in an IT-related field preferred.
- Working familiarity with operating systems and office applications, including Microsoft Windows, MS Office / O365, and Active Directory.
- Experience troubleshooting common end-user technologies and network connectivity.
- Strong analytical problem-solving abilities with a practical, service-oriented approach to resolving user issues.
- Professional communication skills, effectively supporting users in a fast-paced environment.
- A willingness to proactively learn new technologies, expand technical capabilities, and contribute to an evolving IT environment.
