About the role
The role of Help Desk Administrator involves providing technical support to users across various departments. This includes troubleshooting hardware and software issues, assisting with user training, and maintaining system documentation.
Responsibilities
- Provide timely and effective technical support to users via phone, email, and in-person visits.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems using diagnostic tools and knowledge of common issues.
- Train users on new systems and applications as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of all help desk interactions and system changes.
- Collaborate with IT team members to ensure smooth operation of the help desk and overall IT infrastructure.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a help desk or IT support role.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Qualifications
- Experience with ticketing systems and CRM software.
- Knowledge of network fundamentals and basic server administration.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple concurrent requests.
