About the role

Through electronic reuse, PCs for People provides the opportunity for all low-income individuals and nonprofits to benefit from the life changing impact of computers and mobile internet. Issue Area(s): Technology Education & Access. Population Served: Low‑income Communities.

Responsibilities

• Sort through donations
• Process desktops and laptops
• Perform functionality tests on products
• Work side by side with warehouse and technician teams
• Learn about NAID (National Alliance for Information Destruction) procedures and internal refurbishment processes

Requirements

• No technology experience/expertise necessary
• Age minimum: 18+ (with adult) / Minimum Age: 18+

Schedule

Volunteers are needed Monday through Friday between 10:00am‑3:00pm. Shifts generally last 2 hours, but we are flexible to work with your availability.
